A Windy Afternoon

Yesterday morning started off as a rainy day, a little on the blustery side, then, the next thing I know the winds start howling and the lights go off. 30 hours later the lights are still off at LHS where I work and they only returned to the house on Oxbow after 10:00 this morning. I was forced to go to La Fitness to get ready for work. I guess the shock of seeing me there sent the poor desk manager home early!

We were fortunate not to have too much damage and no trees on the house considering how many trees we have.

Here is the backyard shed which took the brunt of our damage. I guess Woody will have another honey on his "honey do" list!

I feel bad for the people that own this house in my neighborhood. It's been for sale for around two years with no takers. I don't think people will be lining up now!

To save myself from sheer boredom, I had to go to Ikea to exchange some items I bought the week before. I then spent the rest of the evening reading by candle light and watching the 8 inch analog tv that will no longer work once we go digital!
